Michael Hodges MBIE
Chairperson
Michael has been in the funeral industry for a number of years and has been working at the University of Adelaide for more than 20 years.
When not working, Michael enjoys spending time gardening and being with family and friends. He also loves being involved in a couple of local charity organisations.
Jacqui Wright MBIE
Vice-Chairperson
Jacqui began her career in the funeral industry in 2006.
Her enthusiasm and passion for the industry, especially mortuary care led Jacqui to qualify as an embalmer in 2018.
Jacqui has recently completed a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
Michael Hopkins MBIE
Treasurer
Michael has been involved in the funeral industry for the past 25 years. He has mainly been associated with small family-owned/run funeral companies, exposing him to all facets of dealing with grieving families and the care of the deceased.
Qualifying as an embalmer broadened his passion for the industry. His other two passions are Clydesdale horses and his family.
Away from the industry, he has his beloved Clydesdale horses which he has successfully exhibited in Led, Driven in long reigns, Harness including delivery and Tradesman Turnout classes. He is also a qualified Harness Horse Judge.
Michael became the Australasian Division Treasurer in 2007 and is our longest-serving committee member.
